| This excellent instrument was handed over to me from the family of late Muneo Tozawa, with whom I started study of bassoon playing in my early days. I have been using this instrument from 1971 for most of all my performances, giving adequate maintenance and care in many ways. One thing I would like to mention is that all my solo recordings before 1999 were made with this instrument. I think aging of this instrument is in the most optimum period now and can offer very best sound of its make. |
